The Christian Education program in the United Church of Christ is a program where all who carry the primary responsibility for the Christian education of children and youth, join their talents with educators and the entire congregation to create a community where all people can realize and receive God’s love. Our Christian Education ministry encompasses bible studies, personal growth, the library, and children and youth activities including the nursery.  Bible studies have been on books in the bible and on books about the bible or biblical characters and themes.

The Personal Growth Series (PGS) is geared towards helping people to lead richer lives.  Topics include health and well-being, finances, recovery, comparative religion, and general interest.

The library has materials available for lending and a depository for book returns.  We have facilities for children and youth activities during services.  We also participate in UCC Conferences and external activities such as the canoe trip, Night of Joy, and Walk on the Water.

We promise to teach the children and youth all that Christ commands, to surround them with our love, and by our fellowship and commitment to Jesus Christ, strengthen their ties with God.

We welcome you to volunteer to teach a bible study, lead a PGS, re-shelve books, and work with children and youth. If you are interested in volunteering for the Christian Education Ministry, please Email us or you can click here and let us know how you’d like to offer your talents!
