On June 4 at 7 PM, Sunshine Cathedral in Fort Lauderdale will host an Interfaith LGBTQ+ Pride Service, welcoming individuals of all or no faiths. Organized by the inclusive congregation, the event celebrates Pride as an act of faith, resilience, and authenticity. Through prayer, reflection, and music, the service affirms the sacred worth of queer people, their relationships, and their rights. Embracing the concept of “imago dei”—the divine image in every person—the gathering reminds the world of queer dignity and joy.
